Ribera del Duero, Valduero
Bodegas Valduero is a company owned and managed by the family Garcia Viadero. The winery was founded in 1984 in Gumiel del Mercado, a small village in the county of Burgos, located 10 miles north-west of Aranda de Duero, right in the D.O. Ribera del Duero. Despite the region has a long and reputed viticultural tradition in the early 80 s there were 5 to 7 wineries in Ribera del Duero and the wine-awareness was limited to advanced consumers.
