This wine comes from the Valais, the upper part of the Rhone Valley which stretches from Switzerland to the South of France. The dry and warm climate is perfect for the production of well structured white wines and powerful reds. The most important red grapes are the world-famous Pinot noir and the fruity and spicy Gamay. This wine is a blend of both, called Dôle. Refined, elegant and well balanced with a long finish, it will be a perfect match for mountain cheese from Valais and for the classical Swiss "Sunday dishes".
